Hey, I’m Adam Burch, a vocalist, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist genre bending at the intersection of soul, pop, blues, jazz, funk, and electronic music.

I’ve been releasing original music since 2018, using my voice to connect with people, tell honest stories, and uplift. Although soul is at the center of my sound, my versatility as a vocalist allows me to move naturally across genres and creative worlds.

In 2022, I released a collaborative project with a New Orleans band and Grammy-winning producer Mack Major. I later spent several years in Nashville, where I developed my craft further, releasing my first full-length soul-pop album under my own name and another album under Adam Oracle, an experimental electro-blues and funk project inspired by mysticism and deprogramming from religion.

Most recently, I’ve been collaborating with Position Music on Human to Human, a retro-soul project created with sync licensing in mind and performed under my newest artist identity, Ellis James. The EP arrives October 7, 2026.

Each project represents a different dimension of my creative life, but they all share the same foundation: soulful expression, musical exploration, and a desire to connect human to human.
